today was international tabletop day to promote game playing and good, old-fashioned fun. we decided to play clue because, well, that’s probably my favorite game ever. it’s typically not playable by just two people, but we found some alternative gameplay rules on boardgame geek that scales the gameplay to be more challenging and fair, and there’s a two-person variant under those rules.
we played on a cushion on the floor so the kids could join in. charlie was mostly neutral (he did peek at my cards a couple of times), but zoe decided she would be josh’s ally. the picture is of her zealously defending his cards with her paw.
in the end, though, zoe chose poorly because i won.
